In my testing, I’ve found GreenPan’s coating to last longer than most ceramic coatings but not as long as PTFE non-stick coatings.
What is the difference between green pans?
GreenPan is a higher end product, with more high end options (like clad stainless bodies). GreenLife is stamped aluminum, and is thinner than most GreenPan lines, so it will have poorer heating properties. In some cases, it’s hard to tell the difference between a GreenPan and a GreenLife skillet.

This ceramic non-stick cookware does not have PTFE coating. GreenPan uses a different technology under the brand name of Thermolon. The Thermolon coating is made by a Sol-Gel process that results in forming a coating layer on the surface of the pan.
